With a team leader they carry out face to face fundraising, a highly successful fundraising method: not only is it great at raising lots of money for charities, but it is cost-effective for charities, enabling them to plan and commit to exciting long-term programmes and campaigns because they know what their income from fundraising will be. Each fundraising team has a team leader and all fundraisers are trained in street fundraising techniques as well as about the specific charity campaign that they are working on. Our fundraisers become ambassadors for that charity, as well as fundraisers. Trained to speak one-to-one with potential donors, YOU could establish the first step towards building a committed long-term relationship between the donor and the charity. We are currently recruiting outstanding, enthusiastic individuals to join our committed street fundraising teams. Travel & Accommodation Roaming: As a roaming fundraiser you’ll work and live as part of a team. We pre-arrange self-catering accommodation for the team in locations near scheduled fundraising sites, often in holiday cottages. You will usually be in one place travelling to fundraising sites accessible from this accommodation for two weeks. And we provide a team car, with a designated driver from the team. The team, including the team leader, live and work together; this facilitates making friends, sharing fundraising tips and keeping the whole team working well and together. Travel & Accommodation Residential Our residential fundraisers get to live at home and work as part of a close team fundraising in or near either Dublin, Cork or Galway. Working daily as part of a team helps everyone share fundraising tips, keeps the whole team motivated and fundraising well, and builds great friendships too. Hours and Pay Roaming: Face2Face Fundraising Ireland’s teams fundraise Monday- Friday 10am- 6pm, with occasional Saturdays. Your travel and accommodation costs are paid for. Your basic wage is €295 per week, paid weekly into an Irish bank account. You are immediately eligible to start earning performance related and quality dependent bonuses, which are paid three weeks in arrears, also into an Irish bank account. You are not paid on Commission: 100% of the money you raise goes directly to the charity it was raised for. Extra allowances are paid to team drivers (€75 per week) and to team assists (€20 per day.) Training Our fundraisers are continually trained to ensure they are fundraising both professionally and effectively and that they are fundraising in a manner that benefits the charities and potential donors. All new starters receive two days training in our Dublin offices. Our Coach trains in both core fundraising skills, and the professional standards which govern our work, and the also provides charity-based training. When a fundraiser joins their team on the street on day three they are a trained recruit. Team leaders work with them through further modular training on core skills to develop confident, competent fundraisers. Peer training, showing how it’s done and particularly role-playing all ensure sufficient and appropriate charity knowledge and basic skills: you’ll be raring to give it a go, under the supervision of your team leader, of course! When a team starts on a new charity’s fundraising campaign, they receive specialised training from our charity partners, outlining their aims, specific objectives and any key messages. Successful fundraisers can be promoted to team assists or team leaders, where leadership and management skills are trained & gained. You could also become a coach, where you focus on training fundraisers, either in groups or one to one. All fundraisers are supplied with a charity specific jacket and/or T-shirt, a folder of promotional materials, and an ID badge essential for fundraising. Can I keep charity branded clothing?
